STAR STABLE ONLINE: A SNOW SAGA (WINTER FESTIVAL 2022)
How can we make the release of the new interactive snow get attention and
maintain our players’ urge to play during the whole festival?
By creating a magical saga of five chapters.
For the theme of the winter festival, I, together with my team, created a concept that aligned with the happenings, releases, and offers of the game. I made a communication strategy and guided the creative team + social media team on how the concept should be communicated for each channel.
Welcome to the Winter Village
Oh, how we’ve longed for a polka-dotted sky, the smell of gingerbread,
the sound of a fireplace, and the crisp winds to bite our cheeks. Grab your blanket and bundle up, for our Winter Festival is about to begin! Let's glimpse the five coming chapters and weeks of A Snow Saga.
The Winter Festival is an annual event in Star Stable Online, where the islanders of Jorvik celebrate the winter with festivities, quests, races and much more snowy fun!
Once upon a snowstorm spread its weather overseas and land. Mad as a blizzard, cold as ice, the ground froze beneath its clouds, and with every exhale, crystals of snowflakes sailed from the sky.
But as the storm brought the snow, Jorvik started to glow.
The Snow Crisis
"The winter festival had once again arrived — but this year, the festival didn’t come to Jorvik alone: A mad blizzard has taken over the island! Are the islanders prepared for such storm? Seems like they’re not ... Only a hero (you) could help them out!"
